Sunday Drop-In Center for the Homeless
On Sunday afternoons, we open the doors of Patterson Hall to our homeless neighbors. They eat a snack and enjoy reading, watching movies, playing games and talking with one another and our volunteers. Many check their email and write job applications and resumes in our Computer Lab. The Drop-In Center provides a safe place for people to go on the day of the week when many agencies which serve the homeless are closed.
The Drop-In Center is open from 12:30 to 4 pm on Sundays. We are always looking for volunteers. Call Janet Rhodes, Director, for more information (562-590-9520).
