The Bud Kilsby-Louis Valla Lecture on Progressive Religious Scholarship - February 19, 2011 - “The Importance of Interfaith Dialogue”
The keynote speaker was Dr. Jerry Campbell, President of the Claremont School of Theology, who discuss that school’s exciting new interfaith University Project. Following his presentation, Jerry Stinson moderated a panel of interfaith leaders discussing why they feel interfaith dialogue is critical. The panelists were Rabbi Haim Beliak, founder of JewsonFirst.org; Aziza Hasan from the Muslim Public Affairs Council; Judy Gilliland, president of the Interreligious Council of Southern California; and Anthony Manousos, a Quaker writer and activist.
