Visitors

We’d love to have you visit us!

Our Sunday morning Services of Celebration begin at 10 a.m. Please look at the “Directions and Parking” to learn how to get here and where to park. You might want to consider arriving early, as our closer parking lots tend to fill up. There is street parking available, too, and plenty of parking in the Civic Center parking structure.

You’ll find a congregation of diverse ages and backgrounds, folks who are coupled and single, gay and straight, young and old. The style of our service is on the traditional side, with robed clergy and choir, a processional and recessional, and colored paraments to match the church season. Folks come to church dressed in everything from suits and dresses to jeans and t-shirts.

The main entrance to the sanctuary is at the corner of Third and Cedar. A greeter will meet you at the door to welcome you to our church, an usher will give you a bulletin and, if needed, help you find a seat. There are listening enhancement devices available from any usher.

You can take a paper copy of the service bulletin from an usher, or you may scan a QR code to see it on your phone or tablet. We use gluten-free squares of bread and individual cups of grape juice for Communion, which is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.

After our Time with Children, all children and youth are invited to Sunday School which meets in classes divided by grade during the school year, and all ages gather together for our Funday Sunday in the summer. Our nursery opens at 9am and stays open throughout worship for infants and toddlers. However, all children are also welcome to stay with their families in the service if they prefer. Ushers are also available to share directions on where to find Sunday School classrooms after worship.

If you use a wheelchair, walker, or have any difficulty with steps, a ramp entry into the sanctuary is accessed through the gate to the Kilsby Courtyard in the middle of the edifice facing Cedar Avenue.

After the service, there is a time for coffee and conversation in either the Kilsby Courtyard or the Koinonia Room, depending on the weather. Any usher can help you find it.

We look forward to seeing you!
